Benefits

Hit the rugged, winding trails or the open road with the first max-cushioned, Zero Drop™ crossover shoe designed specifically for the female foot. The Olympus™ utilizes its max-cushioned Zero Drop platform and foot-shaped toe box to place your foot in a natural position for more speed, stability and comfort. While the two-layer A-Bound™ cushioning protects your feet from the rugged trail and open road, we still recommend learning and focusing on proper, low-impact technique. And because a max cushioned shoe reduces the workload on the feet, foot strengthening should be done to keep the foundation of the body strong. Run through nature as nature intended you to with the new Olympus.

Love the cush, sizing is way off

Knocked this to 3 stars for several reasons: I wear an 8.5 in both the Intuition 1.5 and the Torin, and I found the sizing on the Olympus to be WAY off--the 8s are too small and the 8.5s ginormous. I went with 8.5s anyway since I've been waiting for this shoe since last fall. The upper seems loose a... (Read more)
The squish!!! The squish!!!

Upon reading the other reviews, my sizing opinion may not be correct. I wear a 10 in all of my Altras(Torin, Superior, Lone Peak) and the "show me how it fits" section says I should wear a size 10 in these as well. That is what I bought and I ran in them this morning for 12 miles. I found them to be... (Read more)

Love this shoe!!! Sizing is right on (I have Lone Peak 1.5 also). Upper is roomy but not loose, toebox is wide, little bit of support under arch but not too much & the cushion is perfect! I was concerned to lose ground feel with so much cushion, but I didn't, amazing! Forward rocker motion really ni... (Read more)

This shoe was perfect right out of the box! I ran a conservative 15 miler, though but, it was far enough to realize I had chosen the right shoe! I could have easily run for several more hours in these without an issue. The main thing I noticed was after the run, though..the lack of pain in my feet. ... (Read more)

I have osteoarthritis and am in need of a total hip replacement. Walking or spending long periods of time on my feet is painful. I bought the Olympus for a trip to NYC. I walked on average 10 miles a day for 4 days. Before I left I prepared for the worst but, as the days went on, my feet and hip ... (Read more)

These are some of the most comfortable shoes ever... feels like running on clouds. However, the sizing runs larger than the other models. I own both the Intuition 1.5(and 2.0)and Torin models in a women's size 9. However, my feet were swimming in the size 9 Olympus. I had to exchange them for a ... (Read more)
