Comments: I just completed my first 50 miler ultra trail marathon wearing the Superior. At an aid station around mile 30 I saw another runner take off his shoes and his toes and feet were all blistered up. I took off my shoes and my feet looked great. No blisters! It gave me an extra boost of energy to get up and continue on. The terrain was mostly dirt road and trail, which the Superior was perfectly suited for. The fit and feel throughout was amazing. The large toe box let my toes splay out and expand, but the heal locked in and wasn't too loose or floppy. The Superior is also very light and feels natural on my foot. It clearly has the best fit and feel of any shoe I've owned. The one negative thing I found with the Superior is that it didn't protect my feet as well as I liked running a gravel trail marathon a few weeks earlier. That marathon went well and I ran a PR, but the balls of my feet were a little sore from pounding the rocks. I had hoped the StoneGaurd would prevent any soreness there, but I probably just pounded too many rocks in that run. I would recommend the Superior to anyone as it's an amazing trail shoe.
