The Altra Guarantee

At Altra, we're dedicated to providing top-quality footwear and unrivaled customer service. We promise a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on all of our products. If you are not completely satisfied with your new product within the first 30 days after purchase, we will replace or exchange your product, including unworn and worn or defective items, free of charge—no questions asked.

If the product was purchased at a retailer store:

Return the item to its place of purchase.

If the product was purchased at AltraRunning.com:

  1. Please contact the Returns Department via email at returns@altrafootwear.com or by calling us at 888-851-9411. Please be aware that hold times can be excessive at certain times of the day.
  2. Select option 4 to receive a Return Authorization Number (RMA). The RMA is required for all exchanges.
  3. Upon obtaining the RMA, we will schedule a UPS pickup for return of the product to us. Items returned to us without an RMA will significantly slow the exchange/refund process.

Altra Running Footwear has a 300 – 500 mile life expectancy. Products returned with abnormal wear or other potential abuses to the return policy are subject to our discretion.
