At Altra, we believe running is a great way to improve both your mental and physical health, and so is talking about it. Our overall human performance can be dependent on our mental wellness, particularly during chaotic and unpredictable times. That’s why we’re launching our series, “Mental Wellness: Let’s Run with It” to support mental health and provide tools for dealing with it. 

Our three-part series features human performance researcher, author, and coach, Brad Stulberg as he sits down Altra athletes and discusses ways to get help and ways you can help yourself.

Jacob Puzey is a runner of all surfaces and all distances. After running and coaching his way through his childhood and college years, he continues to coach, but due to family commitments (he has six kids) he only works online with his athletes through Peak Run Performance. Jacob and his wife, Amy, live in Canmore, Alberta, Canada and direct a nationwide trail running series, 5 Peaks Trail Running, as well as a multi-day trail running event, TranSelkirks Run. They also direct a couple of running retreats each year based near their home in the Canadian Rockies.
