@ncrunnerjacky

I’m an ultra/trail runner, Cancer survivor, and amputee who loves pushing the limits and proving the naysayers wrong. I am a mom, coach, speaker, world record holder, and hold various "first" records for amputees. I run any distance from Half Marathon to 200 miles being my longest. I secured a podium place at the Boston Marathon (3rd) and Boston Half Marathon (1st) and in 2023, I was honored with the RRCA athlete of the year award. I am super passionate about getting people moving, because I believe that we are all capable of so much more than we think.

Tell us a fun fact about you.
I hated running when I was at school.

Why Altra?
I have been a huge fan of Altra for years and it was always my go-to shoe for all my ultra races. I ran my first 50-miler in a pair of Altras and have been hooked since that day. I was so excited when Altra asked me to join the Elite Athlete team, because it had been a team I had been dreaming of joining. It's wonderful to work with a company that is so supportive of my goals and who make great shoes. I love the shoe, love the company, and I’m super excited for the future with Altra.
