Altra Elite Athlete, Rebecca Rusch, is a professional adventure athlete, 7x world champion, activist, and best-selling author. She is the founder of the Be Good Foundation, which works to enrich global communities using bicycles as a catalyst for healing and transformation. In her native Idaho backyard, she puts on gravel bike camps that lead up to Rebecca's Private Idaho, one of the premier gravel races in the US, aimed at building and giving back to the sport, especially for women athletes.
In this episode, Rusch joins us for a Q & A following a showing of her film, Rusch To Alaska: The Iditarod Trail Invitational. This film documents her journey competing in this intensely rugged mountain bike event covering 350 miles of cold, desolate, lonely Alaskan wilderness.
