WIN YOUR WINTER WITH THE RIGHT WINTER SHOES
Let’s face it: winter weather makes it more difficult to get out and run due to the less-than-ideal running conditions. The good news is, we can help. As they say, “there’s no such thing as bad weather. Just bad gear.” So, let’s get you the gear you need to get out and conquer those cold conditions.
Conditions: Snowy, icy, slippery or muddy
Recommended Tech: Vibram® MegaGrip™ Outsole
Reasoning: Vibram® MegaGrip™ is exactly as advertised: mega grippy. Even in wet or slippery conditions, it is durable and provides excellent grip, performing well in the cold.
Suggested Shoes: For technical terrain, we recommend the King MT 2. For longer runs on snowy roads, go with the Olympus 3.5.
*Looking for even more traction? Every pair of Altra trail shoes is compatible with most aftermarket ice spikes, so you can handle any icy adventure.
