Corinna Coffin is a registered dietitian, professional obstacle course racer, and fitness coach whose mission is to help others lead healthier, happier lives through nutrition and exercise.
Over the last six years, Corinna has tried her hand in a variety of athletic pursuits, ranging from triathlons, Spartan Races, Tough Mudders, the CrossFit Games, and everything in between. Through fitness and competing, she developed an even deeper passion for health and wellness and decided to pursue a master's degree in sports nutrition and dietetics from the University of Utah.
In addition to competing, Corinna also serves as the lead dietitian for a non-profit in Salt Lake City, Utah as well as runs her own online nutrition coaching practice.

What is one of your most memorable non-competition runs?
Running on Christmas morning with my mom when I was 15 and not a soul was out!
If you had to pick one race or event this year that you anticipate will be your most proud achievement or moment, which one would it be and why? Do you have a special connection?
I am competing in a 2-day, single elimination obstacle course race on the beach this upcoming May. I'm excited about it because there are only a handful of athletes who have been invited to compete in the Pro Division and all of the female athletes who will be competing are incredibly strong contenders! Simply getting the invite is an honor in and of itself, but to win this race would be quite an achievement amongst such a stacked field. It's also a brand new race series and I love supporting newcomers because I want to see this sport grow!
What is your favorite event to watch that you don’t participate in?
I’ve always been fascinated by pole vaulting!
Do you have any quirky running habits?
Not that I can think of but maybe I should start some...
WOULD YOU RATHER:
Eat a slice of pizza mid-race or drink a milkshake?
Pizza.
Run on an empty stomach or a full bladder?
If I could go to the restroom behind a tree, full bladder all the way!
Do a beer mile or a milk mile?
Milk.
Run in the freezing cold or the sweltering heat?
Freezing cold.
Be met at the finish line with your favorite beverage or favorite meal?
Favorite beverage—fresh lemonade.
Come across a snake or a rat on your run?
Rat all day.
Run with a blister on your foot or a cramp in your side?
Oof... probably gunna go with blister.
Give up core work or stretching and still stay injury-free?
Not a chance.
Run uphill in the first half of your run or the second?
First half! Get it over with.
